Open a New Dimension to Your Awards with Our Judgify’s Public Voting System
An award is fundamentally a competitive process. Just like other competitive processes, awards typically involve multiple categories of participation, multiple submissions and multiple rounds of judging.
With Judgify’s award software, you get access to all of our standard features in addition to popular add-ons such as nominations and public voting. Judgify’s public voting software – broaden audience participation by allowing users to register and vote for their favorite nominees, and turn on public commenting to facilitate community discussions.
You control the rules
Submissions of the event are opened to the public for voting. For awards that rely on public voting on entries, Judgify has “Selection” voting option, “up/down” voting option and also “rating/star” voting option. Add a new dimension to your awards, opening up judging to give everybody the vote. Configuration options are virtually limitless. Limit the number of votes per person. Control vote-rigging by requiring voters to register with a valid email address. Or leave it open for all, for maximum voter participation.
Social scale
Encourage entrants to engage their social networks in voting for their entry without even an account with Judgify, in turn generating visibility, recognition, and scale for your awards. Voting result will be available for event organizer in Admin Panel. The Admin dashboard let’s you view nominations, registrations, and submissions in real time. So, Everybody wins.
The Scenario in the real world
We were recently working with an organization that was hosting a traditional contest with a non-traditional twist. Much like most award programs, they wanted to accept applications from across the board, screen those applications so that the qualified ones made it to the judges/reviewers for evaluation. The judges would then narrow the list of 50 or so applications to 10. This is where the twist came in. Once the applications were narrowed to the top 10, they wanted to have the public vote on these top 10 applications to determine the winner.
Judgify provided all the software tools to all for everything up to the “public voting” part but didn’t quite have something to allow the general public to participate in the process – BUT – we got excited about the idea, and so decided to implement it.
There are also a lot of options that enable you to configure the public portion of your contest the way you’d like. You can, for example, determine whether or not participants should be able to vote more than once or whether the should be able to change their votes.
